Raw hair refers to hair that is completely unprocessed, without any chemicals, dyes, or filters. It is collected directly from a single donor and attached to a weft. Raw hair has a distinct pattern. This type of hair is more costly because it seldom sheds, resists tangling, and absorbs color exceptionally well, allowing it to bleach to a 613 shade.
Origins refer to the source of the hair. The most popular types are Raw Indian, Raw Indonesian, Raw Cambodian, Raw Vietnamese, and Raw Burmese.
Virgin hair is hair that has been processed to achieve a specific pattern, such as Body Wave, Deep Wave, Water Wave, Straight, or 613. It is more affordable because it is manufactured rather than sourced directly from a donor, unlike raw hair, which is cut from an individual's head and is more time-consuming to obtain.
Virgin hair can last for as long as 3 years. It tends to tangle and shed slightly more. Virgin hair appears quite different from raw hair.
